Our policy

When using the portal we need to make you aware that we pride ourselves on making the portal as user friendly as possible and ensuring that your personal data is managed and stored in line with GDPR.
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the most significant piece of European privacy legislation in the last twenty years. It replaces the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive (European Directive 95/46/EC), strengthening the rights that EU individuals have over their data, and creating a uniform data protection law across Europe.

WELLBEING4BUSINESS will comply with applicable GDPR regulations as a data processor when they take effect on 25th May 2018. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the data which we collect about your teams lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We own and control the data collected on our site, which we may use for our internal marketing and to improve our site. We do not disclose this data to third parties, unless required by law or court order or to enable third parties to provide certain services to us, for example Web hosting. However, we will at all times control and are responsible for that use of your data.

We collect personal data from team manages about their team (name and email address), which team managers voluntarily submit to us, for example when a team signs up to a challenge on our site. We may use this data to provide team members with information on the challenge and team managers are asked to check with team members prior to uploading team data. We will only send information using the data collected on our site which has been entered by team managers.

We take appropriate steps to protect data both online and off-line. We use firewalls to protect the information on our servers.

The personal data we collect:

When you use the Website, we may hold the following personal data about team members:

  • Team name
  • Team/ Participant members name
  • Demographics supplied by the organisation – e.g. division or  store

Cookies

Our site uses cookies. A “cookie” is a small file on your computer which stores certain information about your online browsing. Cookies help us recognise you as a prior site visitor, to personalise your browsing and to track your interests so we can improve our site for your benefit. We do not store any personal data about you using cookies. Your browser can be set to not accept cookies, in which case you may still use our site but may not benefit from some of the functionality that cookies bring to your experience of a Web site.

IP Addresses

We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer our site and track your movements whilst on our site. IP addresses do not supply us with personally identifiable data.

The portal is hosted on a high security cloud based server in the Uk. If you access the portal from the US, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure that differ from UK, please be advised that through your continued use of the portal you are transferring your personal information to the Uk and you consent to that transfer.

Access

You retain the right to access, amend, correct or delete your personal information where it is inaccurate at any time. To do so, please contact info@wellbeing4business.co.uk. While we would be sorry to see you go, you can delete your account at any time.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Privacy Policy. We will provide no other notice to you. It is your responsibility to review this page from time to time to ensure that you continue to agree with all of its terms.
